Spring 2006
Hello from Jim Brungardt TFG. To be honest I held off putting together the first fishing update until now for a reason...the early season fishing wasn't all that good. But on Sunday all that changed. As you may know most of the fish that call the creeks on 3 Creek Ranch home only do so for part of the year. Sometime in late October most of the fish leave our creeks and head to the Snake River. Every year in June they come back. Normally we start to see more fish in the creeks around the 15th of June and this year they were right on time. For the first couple of weeks of the fishing season there were a few fish around but the fishing wasn't all that good. We were able to find a few fish rising and we caught some fish but many parts of the creeks simply didn't have any fish. I've been walking the creeks most days and on the 15th noticed the first big push of fish. That along with the first consistent hatches of the summer were what we needed and on this past Sunday it all came together. Todd and Josie Domenico (Todd is Director of Sales and Marketing here at 3 Creek) and I headed to lower Spring Creek and had a great afternoon. The bugs were hatching and the fish were rising. We caught some fish, had some laughs and enjoyed being on the water. As we all know fishing is fishing and some days are better than others (that's a TFG disclaimer) but it's always fun being outside and I look forward to spending time with all of you this coming summer.
