Solar Eclipse Watch Parties Around Jackson

What are you doing on August 21st, 2017 at 11:36 am? If you are unsure of Eclipse Day plans, check out the local viewing parties below!

When is the Eclipse: Here in Jackson, WY at approximately 11:35am the moon will pass directly in front of the bun blocking out all of the sun's rays. Starting about an hour and 18 minutes prior, the partial eclipse will start, as the moon slowly moves across the sun. For 2 plus minutes the moon will hold the position directly in front of the sun, then slowly will continue it's path into a partial eclipse for the following hour (or about 1 PM).

All of the following events are taking place on Monday, August 21st.

• 7 AM – JHMR ticket window opens
• 8 AM - First tram & Sweetwater opens
• 10:16 AM - Start of partial eclipse
• 10:24 AM - Last Tram departs
• 11:34 AM – Eclipse TOTALITY
• 12 PM – JHMR opens activities for the day, climbing wall, drop tower, ropes course and bungee trampoline
• 1 PM - End of partial eclipse
• 2 PM - Concert on the Commons featuring Pinky & the Floyd
