The National Elk Refuge is again partnering with the Teton Raptor Center to present a series of “Feathered Friday” visits this winter at the Jackson Hole & Greater Yellowstone Visitor Center. Check out the free informal programs featuring live birds of prey, With the up close (just at arm’s length away) view, learn all about the eating preferences and typical environments these birds inhabit. Don’t forget to bring the camera!

Time: Race starts at 5:30 PM
Entry fee: $30 for 16 mile race $25 for 8 mile race.
Miss the first round, make sure to sign-up early and head over the pass to enjoy this awesome evening. Race Swag for all racers. Helmets and lights are required.
Race Options: 2 lap ( 16 mile) or 1 lap (8 mile) approximately distance.
Course: Hamster loop and Jolly Green Giants plus the lower ski runs at Targhee.

The Pedigree® Stage Stop, the largest sled dog race in the lower 48 states, The race starts in Jackson, Wyoming and is the only race of its kind with eight stage stops and traveling through four states before finishing in Evanston, Wyoming. Head to Town Square for this family-friendly event and send the teams off at the Opening Ceremony.
Pedigree® Stage Stop Junior Mushers Give Back to their Communities
Have a little one interested in racing, he/she might be one of the lucky two chosen to represent Jackson in an exhibition fun ride. Don’t forget the requirements and contact Assistant Race Director Dianna Lehn ([email protected]) with any questions. In order to participate in the race, students agree to perform 10 hours of community service work prior to the race. “We encourage all communities to send students to this amazing event”, says Stage Stop Race Director Dan Carter. “It’s a one-in-a-lifetime experience for students to interact with world-class mushers and their teams.’
