There is something about a mountain town, they tend to rally behind any reason celebrate and well, to put it plainly, to drink a beer. Since St. Patrick’s Day is primarily about drinking dyed green beer and celebrating how Irish you are, it is one of the best holidays perfectly placed in March to help us “wind down” the ski season. Check out the list of best places to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day below and head out to one or all of these green-themed locations around Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

Postponed due to weather, Snow King’s final Appreciation Party is now a dropping directly on St. Patrick’s Day. While it may not be technically a St. Patrick’s Day celebration, what better way to spend the evening than free skiing, BOGO tubing and Cowboy Coaster tickets, games, food and drink specials, ski movies and more. Lift tickets will be available at the Rafferty Center.

Pink Ribbon Riders Event Website
Celebrating it's 10th year, the Pink Ribbon Riders host the Wyoming Snow Run - a two day event benefitting those in need. This event is open to men or women, ages 12 and older. To celebrate the 10th year, this event is packed with a ton of activities each day!
Schedule:
Friday: Night Welcome Social
-All riders must check in this night, and all pledges must be turned in.
-Dress to impress – recognitions will be awarded
-Bra Decorating Contest – Bring or wear a decorated bra – recognitions will be awarded. This is our Friday night fundraiser.
Saturday: Dinner Banquet Tickets
-Dinner banquet
-All the goodies and participation in free contests offered.
-Event collectible patches
-Participation in the pledge program to raise funds for the cause and thank you gifts.

- Luck of the Irish 3.17 (5K)

St. Patrick’s Day is March 17, and we are celebrating with a Luck of the Irish 3.17 mile race! It’s time to start racing towards that pot of gold! March is also Hemophilia Month and we will be donating at least 15% of every registration to the National Hemophilia Foundation, a great organization dedicated to finding better treatments and cures for inheritable bleeding disorders and to preventing the complications of these disorders through education, advocacy and research.
What: This is a 5K (or 3.17 mile) virtual run (or walk) to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day!
When: Complete your race any time in March 2017, if you can complete it on March 17 (St. Patty’s Day), even better.
*Medals and bibs will ship out mid-February.
Where: You choose the course and you time yourself (you’ll report your finishing time to us).
Why: To celebrate the Luck of the Irish! Cost: The price is $17 and that includes your medal, bib and shipping. Plus, at least 15% of every entry will be donated to National Hemophilia Foundation. *We are in no way affiliated with this charity, we like to choose a different charity for each of our races and are happy to raise funds for them.
