Summer 2016 - The 3 Creek Culinary Team has formed a partnership with Vertical Harvest (as a part of the Culinary Circle). Cuisine from the club's restaurant will feature locally grown lettuces, tomatoes, and herbs.

Summer 2016 - The 3 Creek Culinary Team has formed a partnership with Vertical Harvest (as a part of the Culinary Circle). Cuisine from the club's restaurant will feature locally grown lettuces, tomatoes, and herbs.

Here at 3 Creek Ranch, the entire team prides themselves in their commitment to the preservation and conservation of the land and creeks within the ranch as well as the Jackson region. The culinary team is no exception. This summer marks the launch of the flagship Vertical Harvest of Jackson Hole, a year-round vertical greenhouse near the Town Square. Not only does Vertical Harvest sell food at the height of its nutritional value, it extends Jackson’s growing season from 4 months to year-round. As the team at 3 Creek learned about the immense and diverse yields from Vertical Harvest, they knew that they would love to feature Jackson-grown organics throughout the menu. As part of the Culinary Circle, our team will be able to get first pick of the greenhouses' fresh vegetables, lettuces, tomatoes, and herbs. 

About Vertical Harvest : This is the story of a local project that has global implications.
Vertical Harvest of Jackson Hole is a 13,500 sq.ft. hydroponic greenhouse near Town Square, in the heart of the Town of Jackson. This flagship vertical greenhouse has accomplished the remarkable feat of utilizing 1/10 of an acre (bordering a parking structure and road) to grow an equivalent of 5 acres of produce from traditional farming. 

Vertical Harvest is capable of growing and selling produce all year - ultimately changing Jackson's traditionally 4 month long growing season to a year-round venture. Produce is sold in the local Jackson area to restaurants, grocery stores, and directly to the public via MARKET, their on-site store. The ability to grow locally and year-round, Vertical Harvest can grow 100,000 pounds of produce per year and can have it in the market within one week of harvesting maximizing the nutritional value to the consumers. 

CULINARY CIRCLE:

The CULINARY Circle is an opportunity to join a group of businesses that support Vertical Harvest’s initiative to highlight the importance of local food production in our community. Membership in the circle is an investment in a lasting partnership that will result in an increased awareness of the community efforts for everyone involved. Vertical Harvest cultivates an empowered, healthy, sustainable and connected community by providing meaningful employment for people with intellectual disabilities by growing local, nutritious food year-round.
