Seven Weeks of Spectacular Musical Experiences

The Grand Teton Music Festival is host to the world's best music talent featuring a mix of up and coming artists and legends within the classical realm. The 2016 season coincides with Donald Runnicles' 10th anniversary as the Music Director curating the 40+ concerts throughout the summer season.

OVERALL SUMMER CONCERT SCHEDULE
Festival Orchestra - Fridays, 8PM & Saturdays, 6PM

An audible educational experience allowing all varying degrees of music lovers to learn the background of the most influential pieces in classical music.

A rotation of popular musicians who push boundaries of what is thought of as classical music incorporating different music genres and creating what has come to be called "indie classical music".

Chamber Music - Thursdays, 8PM

SPECIAL EVENTS
Patriotic Pops - July 4th, 6PM
Free - 1 hour in length
Maestro Donald Runnicles leads the Festival Orchestra in this free concert celebrating our great country with classics such as The Star-Spangled Banner and America the Beautiful

Ten Years in the Tetons - July 5th, 7PM
$30 - 1 hour in length (includes complimentary glass of wine)
A celebration of the famed Music Director Donald Runnicles' and his ten years with the Grand Teton Music Festival. The Maestro will be featured on the piano with his colleagues mezzo-soprano Kelley O’Connor and cellist Lynn Harrell for a stage-seated concert. This event is not to be missed.

Gala Concert with Joshua Bell - July 13, 7PM
$100 - 2 hours in length (30 minute intermission)
As one of the most celebrated violinists of his era, and his restless curiosity, passion, and multi-faceted musical interests are almost unparalleled in the world of classical music. Joshua is equally at home as a soloist, chamber musician, recording artist and orchestra leader. The concert of violin concertos, to be held at the Walk Festival Hall, will feature “Summer” from Vivaldi’s Four Seasons.

Gallery Concert with Simone Porter - August 17, 5:30PM
Heather James Fine Art - $30 - 1 hour in length 
Hosted at Heather James Fine Art, this unique spin on a traditional concert will feature Simone Porter, one of the leading up-and-coming violinist. Simone Porter has been noted for her energy, integrity, and exhilarating sound.
