The annual Jackson Hole Culinary Conference caters to aspiring culinary educators and students, chefs, and epicureans alike.

The annual Jackson Hole Culinary Conference caters to culinary educators, aspiring chefs, degree seeking culinary students, and epicureans. The intensive 3-day exploration into cooking trends though hands-on workshops, tastings, tours, and demonstrations is unmatched all while being surrounded by the inspiring landscape of the Teton Mountain Range.

A food lover that would rather dine than learn the workings behind the meal? Head to the Community Dinner to partake in an evening of wine pairings and local ingredients all prepared by the Culinary Festival’s students. All are welcome to join the Community Dinner.

Here’s one just for the locals. Every first Sunday of the month, year-round, Jackson residents can enjoy the Museum of Wildlife Art for FREE! First Sundays offer special programming sure to be enjoyed by the entire family as well as admission to all of the current exhibitions. 

First Sundays are generously sponsored by Wells Fargo, Jan and Larry Finch and Charlotte Stifel.

Sandy Scott taps into her engrained love of the outdoors, hunting, and fishing to capture a glimpse of animals in their true form through sculptures and etchings in various mediums. Through 16 trips to Alaska, Europe, Russia, China, and South America, Sandy’s depictions are unbelievably realistic and authentic.

In an area dominated by large animals, it is easy to forget the critters scurrying around the forest floor and grasslands. Featured in TINY, small animals from all regions throughout the world are showcased by many artists in a multitude of mediums to remind us all of how visually important and impactful this little creatures are.

Young or old, solo or groups, musical, comedy, or any hidden talent is welcome at this year’s third annual Jackson’s Got Talent fundraising event & talent show benefitting the Teton Literacy Center. 

This year, funds will support Teton Literacy Center in their mission to build a 100% literate community. All fundraising efforts via Jackson’s Got Talent’s will be used to fund Teton Literacy Center’s Tutoring, Enrichment, and Family Literacy program.

Depending on your location, the Yellowstone Ski Festival might be a bit of a drive but well worth it. For over 30 years, 3,500+ cross country skiers from across the US and Canada travel to West Yellowstone to launch yet another Nordic season in style on the Rendezvous Ski Trails. Not to miss aspects of this year’s event are: Nordic skiing clinics, competitive races, Biathlon races, the on-snow cross country gear demos, an indoor ski show, and a variety of presentations, clinics, and classes coached by former Olympic athletes and lifelong Nordic skiers.

Start Thanksgiving off on a healthy note with the annual Turkey Trot 5k! Turkey Trot registration is online or at Teton County/Jackson Recreation Center until 3:00 pm November 23, 2016. The 24th Annual Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot 5K Race sponsored by St. John's Medical Center and will be a collection site for the Jackson Cupboard. Any non-perishable food donations can be brought to the Teton County/Jackson Recreation Center on race day. Race volunteers are needed! Contact the front desk at 307-732-5762 for more information.

Lil' Gobblers
Ages 10 and under are welcome to join the Lil' Gobblers event. Run side-by-side with the fully costumed turkey on this short course in the rec center parking lot.  Event to start after the completion of the 5K. Registration day of race only and FREE!

Start the post-Thanksgiving Day diet by walking down to Town Square to partake in the favorite annual holiday lighting of Town Square. As the lights begin to glow and Santa arrives, the Jackson Hole Community Band serenades the evening with all of the classic carols.  Hot coco, cookies, and coffee will be served.
