Day Hike: Cache Divide and back
Time: 9:00 AM - 1:30 PM
Place: Meet at the Nature Center at 9:00 AM
Difficulty: Moderate
Mileage:  8.4 miles R/T      Maximum Elevation: 7,418'      Elevation Gain: 1,225'

This is an up-and-back hike to the Cache-Game Divide. Cache Creek is a popular hiking trail just minutes from tow and follows a two-track road and a well-maintained trail. We’ll begin at the Cache Creek trailhead, maintaining a very easy and gradual uphill gain of only 1,000 feet in the first 3.7 miles. We then cross over Cache Creek, and climb a short steep section of trail, gaining 225’ feet to the pass between Cache and Game Creek. From the pass, we’ll return back down the way we came to the Cache Creek trailhead. This is a very casual and enjoyable hike close to town.

Bring: daypack, snack, rain jacket, warm layer, hat, sunscreen, hiking shoes.
Notes: Dogs are welcome.

We’ll load up our bikes at the Nature Center and begin/end this ride in Victor, Idaho. This is a very enjoyable ride along the rural back roads of the west side of Victor, Idaho along the base of the Big Hole Mountains. We will start and finish this ride at Fitzgerald’s bike shop in victor,Idaho. We can expect relatively flat terrain with small dips and rises on a quiet road that offers continuous views of Teton Valley and the west side of the Tetons. The northern end of our route takes us through Driggs, Idaho, where we return to Victor along the pathway. Great coffee and treats at Fitzgerald’s Bike shop awaits us at the finish.

Bring: bike, helmet, water bottles, warm layer, sunscreen.
Notes: Note early meeting time at the Nature Center. We will be riding on the County road, but we can expect minimal traffic. Please stop by or give me a call if you need help preparing your bike or other cycling needs.

Place: Meet at the Nature Center at 9:00 AM
Difficulty: Easy
Mileage:  3.5 miles R/T      Maximum Elevation: 9,279'      Elevation Gain: 850'

We will start this hike from the parking lot on Teton Pass, hike approximately 2 miles to the top of Mt. Ellie. We will follow a ridge-top trail almost the entire way through open meadows of wildflowers and forest stands of subalpine fir and Engelmann spruce. This entire hike follows a well-worn trail, and offers one of the most spectacular views of the entire Jackson Hole valley. A fantastic way start to any day!

NATURE CENTER
Time: 1:30 PM - 4:00 PM

Road Cycling: 3 Creek Ranch - Red Top Meadows
Time: 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM
Place: Meet at the Nature Center at 9:00 AM
Difficulty: Strenuous
Mileage:  41 miles R/T      Maximum Elevation: 6,594'      Elevation Gain: 1,313'

We will ride the first 8.2 miles along the bike path to Nora’s at the junction of Fall Creek Road and HW 22. From Nora’s we will ride the remaining 12.3 miles on the shoulder of Fall Creek Road, but we can expect minimal vehicle traffic and motorists are aware of cyclists on the road. From Wilson, we’ll start on gentle rolling hills and easy flats. At the 4.5 mile mark we encounter a short but steep (150’) hill, then travel along beautiful flats for another 4 miles to the base of Red Top hill. The last 2.5 miles to the top ofRed top Meadows is a challenging climb of roughly 525’. Although this is a ‘down and back’ ride, the varied terrain and beautiful scenery makes this ride my favorite ride in the valley.

Bring: bike, helmet, two water bottles, food, sunscreen.
Notes: Restrooms, Refreshments and water at the Exxon station in Wilson. Please stop by or give me a call if you need help preparing your bike or other cycling needs.

3 Creek Ranch is Jackson Hole's only member-owned private club. All access to golf, tennis, fitness, activities, and dining is restricted to members of the private club and their guests.
