Day 3 of cart path grooming continues

The temperature is warming slightly and much like yesterday we should be hovering around the 30 degree mark by the afternoon. The extended weather forecast looks promising for more snow on Saturday.

Most of you are aware that due to the thin snow cover, we have deviated away from the traditional ski trail and have now completed 3 full groomings of the cart path. This has allowed more skiable terrain however, there are still some thin areas on #10 & #12. Follow the fresh corduroy in these areas for the alternative routes. The snow on #17 & #18 is also too thin to attempt grooming and will remain closed until we receive more snow.

Despite the weathers lack of cooperation with Nordic enthusiasts, there is great skiing to be had on the newly groomed loops. As soon as we receive another measurable snowfall, we will revert back to grooming the normal routes.  The weather forecast looks promising!

Groomers choice: Cart paths on 1-6 provide some of the best views in the valley.
