Backcountry Zero Winter Bash

Location: Q Roadhouse

Celebrate Friday with some of the best and latest ski movies, live music, Roadhouse beer, a raffle, a chance to chat with the new Backcountry Zero Ambassadors and more. This event is free and open to all. Just don’t get too excited and accidentally Rhombus yourself - or at least arrange a ride home if you do!

Elk Refuge Sleigh Rides Open
Starting December 17, 2016
Weather dependent
10 AM - 4 PM
Daily horse drawn sleigh rides through the National Elk Refuge, including all weekend and holidays except Christmas Day, bring ydirectly through the herds of elk numbering in the thousands. 

 

The 2016-2017 season will begin on Saturday, December 17, 2016 (weather dependent) and will run through late March or early April, depending on conditions. 
Rates
Adults: $21
Children ages 5-12: $15
Children 4 and under: Free
Private Sleighs: $375 per sleigh, 16-18 people maximum. 
Group rates are available for parties of 20 people or more. Further information on group reservations is available below.

A cookie for all! Come decorate your own cookie and take it with you or, if you are like us, eat it before getting out the door!

December 27, 2016 - Cats and Dogs

Snowcats and Avy Dogs! Take a tour of a snowcat and meet one of JHMR’s avalanche dogs and it’s handler. 

December 28, 2016 - Star Gazing
Teton Mountain Lodge 
5-6 PM
Nothing beats a night gazing at Wyoming’s sky - countless twinkling stars blanket the night. Stare off into space as an expert describes the constellations above you. 

December 29, 2016 - Raptor Night
Hotel Terra 
4-5 PM
Get up close and personal with hawks, eagles, raptors, and owls as the Teton Raptor Center presents an informative presentation. 

December 30, 2016 - Sledding
Village Commons
4-5 PM
Zip down the hill and right into a seat by the fire with unlimited hot coco and cookies!

December 31, 2016 - Kids Torchlight Parade
Meet at the Kids Ranch at 4:45 PM
Come one, come all, kids that is! Ride up the new Sweetwater Gondola and create human train of lights as everyone heads down Eagles Rest. Followed by the MSS Parade and Fireworks.
