Valentine's Day Adventurers
Cross Country Ski
Venture on up to Grand Teton National Park and cruise your own path down Grassy Lakes Road and around Polecat Creek. This mild but beautiful trail (which may or may not have had any skis see the trail in days) is a quick 2.5 miles with only 100 ft of vert but can be tacked onto a further jaunt out onto North Flagg Canyon Trail.

Evening Skin up Snow King
Add in a bit of exercise and Skin the King before heading to a late dinner in town. Whether you take one of the “leisurely” routes or boot pack right but Upper Exhibition, uphill travel - with a bit loving speed competition with your partner - always leaves you feeling accomplished and ready for a beer.
Uphill travelers are required to display an Uphill Travel Pass that is free and available at the Summit Lift Ticket Office (hours: Monday to Sunday from 9am-6pm).

Snowmobile to Granite Hot Springs
Hot springs are great, snowmobiles are a blast - combine the two into a fun and relaxing day date. There is a small entry fee (usually around $5 but call ahead to 307-690-6323 for the most up-to-date info). Operating hours are 10 AM-4 PM daily until mid-February/March when it changes to 10 AM - 6PM until April.

With the full moon occurring on Feb. 10, the sky should still be ablaze with the light from the nearly full moon. There are plenty of offerings around Jackson, but nothing beats close to home and dogs allowed. Cache Creek is not only groomed but has a steady ascent so isn’t overly challenging.
