Old West Days
May 26-29, 2017
This year marks the 36th annual almost-summer Western culture celebration. Every year Jackson Hole cherishes it’s roots as "The Last of the Old West" with a parade, family activities, rodeo, live music, local beer, and more.
There are just so many events occurring throughout Old West Days, we recommend heading to the Jackson Hole Chamber event site for the complete schedule.
Here are a few of our favorite events within Old West Days:
Mountain Man Rendezvous and Traders' Row
9 AM - 5 PM at Teton County Fairgrounds
Friday, May 26 - Monday, May 29
Traders Row, Candy Cannon, Bow & Arrow Competition, Hawk & Knife Competition, and Atlatal Competition.
Old West Days Parade
10 AM on Town Square
Saturday, May 27
Not many horse-drawn parades left in the Old West, make sure to be on Town Square early to pick your prime vantage point to view
as many vintage vehicles, historic covered wagons, and wild gunslinging mountain men.
Old West Brew Fest
11 AM - 5 PM on Town Square
Saturday, May 27
Regional craft breweries will be pouring non-stop in exchange for classic wooden nickels. Enjoy the ever-present sunshine and small town community at one of the town’s favorite events of the summer.
