Place: Meet at the Nature Center at 6:30 PM
Description: Join us for a very casual drive north along Antelope Flats and Mormon Row to try our best to see wildlife. On any given evening, we might see bison, antelope, deer, raptors and songbirds, and a beautiful evening watching wildlife always stimulates interesting discussion on a range of natural history topics. I’ll bring a few snacks to enjoy atone of our pullouts, binoculars and a spotting scope.

Bring: Small daypack, water, warm layer if it cools off.
Notes: 6:30 PM departure! We will be viewing from the roadside and not hiking. We might need more than one vehicle depending on attendance.

This is an excellent ride if you are just starting or wanting assistance learning the finer points to riding that new road bike! Expect one of the most scenic bike rides in the world. Opportunities exist for additional mileage if the group so desires.

R Birding Walk: South Park Management Area

Please join me for a very casual morning bird walk along the South Park levee. While we see fewer birds with the arrival of early fall, we will still enjoy a very pleasant 2 mile walk on a maintained two-track road through cottonwood and willow forest and adjacent to the Snake River. I encourage all of the ‘beginner birders’ out there to join us, as my goal is simply to enjoy a morning walk and to help you ‘See more birds’…

Bring: Binoculars, water bottle, warm layer, sunscreen.
Notes: 8:30 meeting time at the Nature Center. I have three pairs of binoculars to loan for the morning. Please stop by or give me a call if I can answer any questions.
